This short film is an experimental piece centered on the ancient Bhutanese knife, while the story is based on non-fiction. This blade holds a dark history; our ancestors would secretly use it as a weapon against their enemies. The method was one of deception: they would offer food, cutting it with the knife. One side of the blade was coated with poison. The host would eat a piece cut with the clean side to prove the food's safety, while offering the poisoned portion to their enemy, who would subsequently meet their end.

As an experiment, this film is a preliminary exploration rather than a fully polished work. We focused on testing our creative and technical capacity for such a project, and in that, we have succeeded. This experience has given us the confidence to pursue more ambitious storytelling in the future. With the support of a sponsor, we are eager to develop this and other ideas into high-quality short films or features.
