In this video, I've covered troubleshooting tips for keypad door lock problems, including an unresponsive keypad, a latch bolt not retracting or extending to lock the door, and lost access codes.

Troubleshooting Steps:

This helps fix several issues including an unresponsive keypad, not locking/unlocking, etc.

1:30 Inspect the Cable Connector:
Helps fix keypad issues.

3:10 Set the Turn Piece Correctly:
Helps correct locking/unlocking issues -- if your lock locks backward or won't lock/unlock.

3:57 Reset the Lock:
If the lock malfunctions as a result of incorrect programming, resetting should correct the errors as it removes all settings and returns the lock to factory defaults.

This is a crucial step to get your lock working electronically after a reset. Make sure not to skip this step.
