PF30 BB to Shimano Crankset Conversion

If you're interested in running a Shimano Hollowtech II crank in your press-fit 30 frame, you've got a few options. The Cannondale SuperSix EVO bicycle in the video has a bottom bracket shell that accepts a press-fit 30 bottom bracket. The bike had a set of Delrin reducers that allow the existing 30mm bearings to be used with a 24mm Shimano crank. This set-up is easy to install and is nice if you need to swap cranksets between 24 and 30mm sizes without having to switch the bearings.
The downfall of this system is it puts a tremendous load on the bearings with their close spacing between bearings.
The best adapter bottom brackets, in my opinion, are the type that splays the bearings outboard of the frame as far as possible. There are plenty of bottom brackets that use this system. In this video, I installed a Wheels MFG PF30 to 24mm 2 piece type BB. There are plenty of 2 piece BB options (Praxis, Token, KCNC, Etc.) but personally, I've had really good luck with the Wheels MFG BB's on a variety of bikes and applications. They're also US-made, reasonably priced, and generally readily available for lots of different applications.
There's also the 1 piece type conversion BB (BBInfinite, Hambini). These are a good option if you're looking for a permanent shell. The main pro to the 1 piece type BB is that they should give the best possible bearing alignment, but other than installing new bearings, they're not easy to swap out if you ever want to run a different crank. I've also seen a handful work loose and migrate out of the frame. These types of BB's press into the frame and rely on a Loctite sleave adhesive to hold them in place. I feel like riding and storing the bike in different temperature ranges can affect this as aluminum and carbon fiber expand and contract at very different rates.
It can also be difficult to remove them if you need access to the inside of the frame to route Di2 wires, internal cables, Etc.
