Real Estate Probates Chapter 11. Trusts. A trust is a Legal Person in the eyes of the law. The trust consists of. 1. The entity or legal person's name. 2. The Trustees. These are the person or persons who created the trust and can administer the trust. 3. The administrators. These are the person or persons who can, in the absence of the trustees, make dispositions to the trust. 4. The Beneficiaries. These are the person or persons who will benefit from the assets in the trust, they are typically referred to as the Heirs. The beneficiaries receive the benefits of the assets but have no decision making in the trust. 5. The assets, typically consist of Real Estate properties, bank accounts, savings accounts, and life insurance policies, but could also include furniture, jewelry, and other items.
