Photo Retouching in Photoshop (For Rough Skin)
*Step 1: Import & Prepare*

Open the image you want to retouch.
Duplicate the original layer (`Ctrl+J`) and rename it **Color**.

*Step 2: Clean Up with Patch Tool*

On the *Color* layer, use the *Patch Tool* to remove major blemishes or rough areas.
Focus on improving problem spots without losing too much detail.

*Step 3: Create a Texture Layer*

Duplicate the *Color* layer and rename the copy **Texture**.

*Step 4: Apply Gaussian Blur (Color Layer)*

Select the *Color* layer.
Go to **Filter - Blur - Gaussian Blur**.
Set the blur radius to around **4.5 – 5 px**, then click OK.
*Step 5: Extract Texture Details*

Switch to the *Texture* layer.
Go to **Image Apply Image**.
Set *Layer* = "Color".
*Blending* = Subtract.
*Scale* = 2.
*Offset* = 128.
Click OK.
Change the *Texture* layer’s blend mode to **Linear Light**.
**Step 6: Group & Smooth Skin
Group both layers (**Color + Texture**) together.
Select the *Color* layer inside the group.
Choose the *Mixer Brush Tool* and set it up:

Brush: Soft Round (customized).
Wet: *52%*
Load: *16%*
Mix: *31%*
Flow: *48%*
Gently brush over the skin to smooth tones while keeping natural texture intact.

*Step 7: Final Adjustments*

Merge the layers when satisfied.
Go to **Filter - Camera Raw Filter**.
Adjust *Texture* (reduce or increase) for the final polish.

✅ Done! You’ll have a smooth, natural-looking skin retouch without losing detail.
