Welcome to FAB3D LABS, a 24/7 live 3D printing stream showing real prints happening in real time, no edits, no cuts, no fake time-lapses.
This channel is all about continuous additive manufacturing, whether it’s successful prints, mid-print adjustments, maintenance, filament swaps, or the occasional failure. If you’re into 3D printing, maker culture, home labs, or just enjoy watching machines work, you’re in the right place.
🖨️ What you’ll see on this stream:
Live 3D printer operation with mostly PLA & PETG and maybe some TPU prints
Long multi-hour prints
First layers, supports, and infill patterns
Maintenance, tuning, and troubleshooting
Real-world printing conditions, not a highlight reel
If you want to know what it takes to run and maintain a typical modern 3D Printer - Watch and Subscribe to get a feel for it!
This stream runs between print jobs and maintenance cycles, so you may see idle time, bed prep, or warm-ups, that’s all part of real-world printing.

Made it this far?! You’ve unlocked the bonus round. 🎉
Here’s a little info of me or about-the-maker lore as your reward:
⏱️ How long have I been 3D printing?
I jumped into the 3D printing world back around 2015, back when slicer profiles were wild, firmware tweaking was mandatory, and failure was just part of the process.
🖨️ First 3D printer ever?
The legendary (and slightly traumatic) Wanhao i3.
Was it good? No.
But it forced me to learn everything, manual bed leveling, endless calibration, mechanical fixes, and the patience required to stick with the hobby. It didn’t just print parts, it built experience, resilience, and a lot of frustration too.
🧪 Favorite material and why?
PETG, hands down. Once you get the hang of it, it just works.
It hits the perfect balance between strength and flexibility, making it ideal for functional prints, daily-use components, and parts that need to survive heat, weather, and real-world abuse.
💀 Worst printer I’ve owned?
That’s a tough one, I’ve got more than a few contenders.
But it’s a real toss-up between the Wanhao i3 and the XYZprinting Crazy3DPrint CZ-300. Both taught hard lessons, tested patience, and required constant babysitting.
I still have both of them sitting quietly in the “retired” section of my setup, kept around as backups and as a reminder of how far 3D printing (and I) have come.
If you’re still reading this, congrats, you’re officially part of the battle-tested maker club. Prints may fail, but the lessons stick. 🔧🔥
