Yesterday on 2/8/25 we chased Andy Muller’s fresh looking RBMN 2102 for the first Iron Horse Rambles of the year! Reading and Northern decided to have 2102 run an iron horse rambles in the winter for the very first time. We started the chase from CP muller in Hamburg PA, then after that we went to the Reading and Northern Headquarters in Port Clinton PA, then after that New Ringgold PA, then Tamaqua Railyard in Tamaqua PA, then Lake Hauto PA, and then Jim Thorpe PA. we did not make it into Jim Thorpe coming in because there was traffic from all the foamers coming out of Nesquehoning PA to head to Jim Thorpe, But we still had a fun day! We also saw RBMN 2023 on PIJT idling next to 2102 + some LGSR and an extra freight NQEX! if you are wondering what that is, it is a as needed freight from Nesquehoning Campus in Nesquehoning PA to Jim Thorpe with a white Reading and Northern tank car to bring 2102 some water before departure back to North Reading. it was a very fun day as I was with, ‪@rbmnfoamer‬ ‪@RailfanDad-NS‬ ‪@CLRPhotography90‬ ‪@CrusaderRailfan‬ ‪@ActionAnthracite‬ ‪@JamieMakin‬ and ‪@transitoftheeast927‬ ​
