This can also be used on a variety of materials. most metals, painted surfaces, plastics.

I have been making personalized cups using a sanblaster to etch designs into stainless steel tumblers.

I am using a sand blasting cabinet from harbor freight and the finest grit blasting medium i can buy in the store. I have a small pancake compressor that has trouble keeping the air flow consistant but hit gets the job done. A larger compressor would make etching the powdercoated cups a lot easier.

I found the design online and cut it out on my Cricut, if you are using a powder coated cup you will want to double up your vinyl before you cut out your design. you will have to spend more time blasting and this can eventually tear away a single layer of vinyl and ruin the project.
