#2 泳がせ釣りを砂浜でやってみたら、いかつい魚がアジを丸飲み!?

日本海能登半島内浦一帯。
水深1000m以上を誇る富山湾を望む能登半島内浦はドン深の地形が特徴的で、陸地から船を10分走らせれば、水深100m以上の釣りポイントにいくつもたどり着ける。そんな能登半島内浦の浅瀬には多くの砂地がある。
前回に引き続き水深30m~70mの砂地の至るポイントで味の泳がせ釣りを行う。

水深65m地点にアジを泳がせるとたくさんのタイが。
１キロ〜２キロサイズのタイの群れが悠然と泳いでいる。アジに攻撃を仕掛けるタイもいるが食いつくまでには至らない。味を食べるにしては少しサイズが小さいようだ。
その後別のポイントに移動し再びアジを泳がせる。しばらくすると魚ではない捕食者が忍び寄る。タコだ。マダコである。アジに足を伸ばすが捕まえるには至らず。そしてタコは泳ぎ去っていく。
砂地でのターゲットであるヒラメの姿を捉えることがなかなかできない。
その後暗くなってきたので40mの浅場に移動。元気に泳ぐアジを沈めていく。
すると、アジに攻撃を仕掛ける魚が。見慣れたアイツ。カサゴだ。こんな砂浜にもカサゴは生息していたのである。産卵期ということも影響しているのだろうか。
アジに食いつくカサゴにフッキングを行い、針がかり。ゆっくりと巻き上げる。
無事に３０cmオーバーのカサゴをゲット。
もう一度アジを泳がせる。かなり暗くなってきたのでこれが最後のチャンス。
ゆっくりアジが海底に向かって泳いでいく。すると着底前にアジを後ろから丸飲みにするやつが！またしてもカサゴだ。アジをしっぽから捕食し、大きな口で丸飲みにする。
うまくフッキングしてゆっくり引き上げる。またしても３０cmオーバーのカサゴをGET!
砂浜でアジの泳がせ釣りをやってみたが釣果はまさかのカサゴ２匹。
未知の巨大魚を求めて冒険は続く。

and is characterized by the deep topography of the area. A ten-minute drive will take you to several fishing points in water depths of 100 meters or more. There are many such sandy areas in the shallows of Uchiura in the Noto Peninsula.
We will continue to fish in the sandy areas at depths of 30m to 70m.

We swam the horse mackerel to a depth of 65m and saw many ties.
Schools of one to two kilo sized tai are swimming comfortably. Some tai attacked the horse mackerel, but they were not able to get a bite. Seems a bit small in size for a taste.
Then we moved to another point and let the horse mackerel swim again. After a while, a predator that isn't a fish creeps up on you. An octopus. It is a madako. I reach for the horse mackerel, but I can't catch them. And the octopus swims away.
It's hard to catch a flounder as a target in the sand.
After that we moved to the shallow water at 40m as it was getting dark. We sink the horse mackerels that are swimming vigorously.
Then the fish attacked the horse mackerel. I'm familiar with that guy. Scorpion. The scorpionfish was inhabiting such a sandy beach. Is the fact that it is spawning season also a factor?
Hooked up with a scorpionfish that bites a horse mackerel, and caught a hook. Slowly roll up.
I got a scorpionfish over 30cm in size.
Let the horse mackerel swim again. It was getting pretty dark, so this was our last chance.
Slowly the horse mackerel swim towards the sea floor. Then there's a guy who swallows a horse mackerel from behind before it hits the bottom! It's scorpionfish again. They prey on the horse mackerel from their tails and swallow them whole in their large mouths.
Hook up well and pull up slowly. We got another scorpionfish over 30cm!
I fished for horse mackerels in the sandy beach, but I didn't expect to catch two scorpions.
The adventure continues in search of an unknown giant fish.
