A semi-improvised performance of this lovely traditional tune with the piper and sometimes whistle-player, Taylor Dalrymple. We approached this tune very much with an open structure in mind, something which isn't that new to me as a jazz musician, but for Taylor is quite different. Coming back from the new year, we decided to make a recording for selfish practice reasons, but we thought it decent enough to share. This is our second recording from the session, and I'm sure you could find Taylor sharing the first one without much difficulty.

Recorded 23/1/2026 at the Aberdeen City Music School. Just a phone recording, and apologies for the bell of which interrupts the very end of the recording, it's not outwith the harmonic region, but it was unexpected!
