The Murray River Bird takes flight over Clayton Bay. Clayton Bay is on the beautiful Lake Alexandrina close to Goolwa and Milang. It is a small town with a series of holiday homes and retreats tucked away on the backwaters from the Lake. Perched across the river from the north-east tip of Hindmarsh Island on the Murray River, Lake Alexandrina, the Coorong Waterway and the myriad of protected creeks and channels which surround the islands of the Mundoo Hindmarsh Island system.
