I finally got around to getting this video done! In this video I propagate my nepenthes ventrata by taking some basal shoot cuttings. This is well overdue as the basal shoots are overgrowing the bottom of my nepenthes. They are all very healthy and should root fine.

I was able to get 5 basal shoots off my main nepenthes ventrata and now have a lot more carnivorous plant children to care for! I will be bringing updates on these plants as they grow and mature. I might have to sell or give some away as I'm getting too many plants and not enough room. Do I expand or get rid of plants? Probably expand. Lol.

My Nepenthes Vantrata have been growing really well but the main plants aren't producing many pitchers. I think these basal shoots have been leeching the nutrients the main plants need to produce big healthy pitchers. Hopefully, removing these basal shoots and repotting them will give my main ventratas more nutrition.
