Chimamanda Ngozi Adichi tells us that single stories are dangerous—they provide only a partial perspective on a complicated reality. For those of us ambivalent about our history, knowing that there are multiple stories for every event provides space to discover a different take on history and chart a path toward a different future. What if we went looking for stories about the value of imperfection, change and relationship. What if we found the stories that fill in the gaps?
