It is true that no help can compensate for a person’s life. There are some things in which people remain constrained. But it is the main responsibility of the administration to stand with sensitivity. That is what the Jammu and Kashmir administration is doing, said the Lieutenant Governor Shri Manoj Sinha while handing cheques to aggrieved families of the minorities whose prime members were killed in terror-related incidents in J&K since 2017. Cheques were also given to healthcare workers under the National Health Mission in J&K.
The J&K administration provided support to those 34 family members who suffered because of the loss of their earning members. Those families who were not present, the administration will go to their homes to complete the formalities and provide all necessary help, LG said.
Our armed forces personnel’s hard work led to the management of Corona and vaccination in the Union Territory. In the whole of India, Jammu and Kashmir performed better.
The pictures of health workers in Jammu and Kashmir went viral in India who travelled on foot on snow covered terrain for 15-16 Km to administer Corona vaccination. If many lives have been saved it is because of the contribution of the J&K health workers, LG stated.
In Jammu and Kashmir, the health facilities have undergone tremendous changes in the last few years. It is because of our Prime Minister, Shri Narendra Modi that J&K got two AIIMS. Seven new medical colleges were established, out of which five are functional. Health and wellness centres have increased in numbers.
The greatest gift which the people of Jammu and Kashmir have got is the health insurance cover of Rs 5 lakh for every individual. The administration’s aim is to give the ‘Golden Card’ to every person. The administration has been successful to a large extent giving the cards to around 98 percent people, LG pointed out.
