She’s Got Claws draw influences from 1980s synth-pop, with inspiration from Depeche Mode, Gary Numan and Human League. Combining this foundation with theatrical elements of Glam Rock from David Bowie and T-Rex which resonate in the dramatic She’s Got Claws style.

The music of SGC is a rich tapestry woven from a diverse array of influences and personal experiences, even with a respectful nod towards New Wave and Post-Punk thrown into the mix, while introducing new themes with a modern edge.
Most songs are initially written on the bass guitar and the vocal line will follow, then integrating harmonies with infectious synth melodies to enhance the emotive quality of the songs.
Micci works the independent studio, she is the main driving force with her programming, vocals, synths and engineering skills. Chris came on board from 2020 with the release of the Doppelgänger album. He is the bass player who co-produces and is the perfect springboard and inspires Micci to write songs from the bass lines he writes on his bass guitar.

She’s Got Claws is self financed as a duo and a cottage industry.

She’s Got Claws appeals to both fans of classic synth-pop and new listeners eager to explore innovative electronic music.
