This is a quick video about a Motohara Tencho style L6 katana. I should also note that this sword is both second hand and I have used it a lot! The scratches on the blade are not something that would come on the sword new.

As I note in the video, this sword has very similar to another katana I reviewed from Motohara. The LMC. This sword has many of the same pros and cons… Mostly Pros.

I was hesitant to make another video about Motohara because I had very little extra info to add. My thoughts on the sword are pretty much summed up in the earlier video I made and I don’t have a lot of footage of me cutting or practicing with it. That said, folks seemed interested so I put something together. The sword is fantastic and I cannot think of a better production/semi-production sword on the market today. That quality comes with a price but if you are interested in a fine tool for study or a prime example of a nontraditional katana, then these are worth your consideration.
