TTC Update | My Husband's Test Results!! | Male Infertility | Trying to Conceive Journey

In today's video we're doing a ttc update on our trying to conceive journey and more specifically: male infertility. Male infertility and infertility in men is not often spoken about at all. It is usually assumed to be a woman's problem if she isn't getting pregnant, which is really not right - in fact it is a 50, 50 chance it could be either partner. We open up about some test results we've received regarding Jamarl's sperm mobility and how it makes him feel as a husband to go though infertility.

A few weeks ago we decided to tell our TTC story. Trying for a baby and not conceiving has been something we've been going through for over 4 years and have kept our journey off YouTube to process privately. But, after taking pregnancy test after pregnancy test, we've decided to share our TTC journey now because we want to open the conversation of infertility up and shine light on something that a lot of couples struggle with. 1 in 8 couples go through fertility struggles at some point in their lives. However, the social rhetoric surrounding infertility is not inviting and welcoming of open conversations. Especially if you are a young couple like we are, trying to conceive in your 20s and facing infertility in your 20s can be very difficult to come to terms with. There can be added pressure from social norms and expectations that can make TTC and trying to get pregnant really difficult. We've definitely felt this pressure. So we're making lots of videos to share our personal experience of what it is like to have infertility and hopefully shed light on TTC and infertility.
