The Rhythm24 has an updated quick- lock armband design to keep the unit securely attached to your arm during swimming and intense workouts. The comfortable, stretchy and easily adjustable band can be worn on the forearm, biceps, or triceps.

The Rhythm24 connects with both ANT+ and Bluetooth Smart just like the Scosche Rhythm+ and will work with over 200 Heart Rate Training apps and all the popular ANT+ fitness watches, and bike computers.

To power on your Rhythm24, press and hold the MultiFunction Button or MFB for 1 second. To turn your Rhythm24 off, press and hold the MFB for 5 seconds until you see the center LED turn red and the Rhythm24 will shut down.

On the Top of the Rhythm24 the center LED is a heart rate zone indicator that changes color based on your heart rate zone. The LED will change from Purple, indicating no heart rate found, to Blue for Zone 1, Green for Zone 2, Yellow for Zone 3, Red for Zone 4 and a Rapidly Flashing Red for Zone 5. You can customize your max heart rate and more in the new Scosche Rhythm Sync app under the My Details tab on the menu.

Below the center LED, you will see a set of tri LEDs which indicate battery level. To view your battery level, simply press and momentarily hold the MFB. Three green LEDs means your battery is fully charged. Speaking of battery, the new Rhythm24 has 24 hours of battery life on a single charge!

The New Rhythm Sync app is a configuration app you can use to change workout modes, update firmware, customize your max Heart Rate, personal information, and Offload your recorded workouts. The iOS version of the app is available now, with the Android version coming soon. In addition, the Rhythm Sync app also interfaces with the Rhythm+.

The Rhythm24 has onboard memory for workouts while not connected to your phone, watch, or bike computer. To record your workout, simply press the small record button on top of the device. You will see the tri LED’s flash orange indicating that you are recording. Three orange blinking LEDs means storage capacity is high. When the tri-LEDs drop to two and then one, it’s time to delete some workout files from the monitor using the Rhythm Sync app. When finished with your workout, simply press the record button to stop recording and use the Rhythm Sync app to offload the data from your device and push it to your favorite fitness apps.

The Rhythm24 has 7 different sports modes - 5 activity modes, and 2 “Multi-Modes.” In Heart Rate only mode you can track your heart rate with all your favorite fitness apps, computers, watches and more. When you put your Rhythm24 in Running mode you can measure heart rate as well as Foot Pod data that will measure stride rate while running or walking. When you put your Rhythm+ in Cycling mode, the Rhythm24 will measure heart rate and road cycling cadence. When in Swimming mode the Rhythm24 will track heart rate while swimming with additional accuracy meant for the water. Note that while swimming you will want to record your workout as Bluetooth and ANT+ do not transmit data underwater. While in Heart Rate Variability - or HRV Mode the Rhythm24 will work with your favorite HRV apps to give you an accurate HRV Measurement.
The Rhythm24 has 2 Multi-modes - Triathlon mode, and Duathlon Mode - which allow you to cycle through the different sport modes without using the Rhythm Sync app. When in Triathlon Mode the Rhythm24 tri-LEDs flash green and the Heart Rate monitor begins in Swimming Mode. You’ll want to record this stage. Once Finished with the Swimming stage of your Triathlon, double tap the Multifunction Button, or MFB, twice to shift the tri-LEDs back to Multi-Sports mode, then double tap the MFB again and your Rhythm24 will be in cycling mode. Once finished cycling, double tap the MFB twice more to shift to the next Triathlon sport to track and the Rhythm24 will be in Running mode. As you cycle through the 3 different sports modes the tri-LEDs will go from 1 to 2 to 3 LEDs indicating which mode you are in. 1 LED is for Swimming, 2 is for Cycling, and 3 is for Running.
Duathlon mode works similarly, starting in Running Mode, then Cycling Mode, and then back to Running Mode. The LED’s blink from 2 to 3 back to 2 Green LED’s.
If you are recording your triathlon or duathlon, to switch modes you will need to double tap the MFB once to bring up the triathlon/duathlon menu, then double tap again to change modes.
