1949 Dodge pickup model b-1-b short walk around description

This one is a 1949 Dodge pilot house model 1/2 ton short bed pickup. This truck is pretty much correct original with the original 6-cylinder and 3-speed transmission. It was a East Coast truck most of us life came out here with substantial rust all over, including a rusted and broken frame. It has come a long way since the first day I saw it. Still some other details to complete the project. Just so you know I am the project manager, I try to keep people going in the right direction on restorations by doing the research finding decent used parts and so forth to feed the project and make sure that it's going in the right direction. Sourcing upholstery work, fabrication, body, paint, and all the mechanical details takes a lot of time. TV shows you see are not reality at all. The professionals that provided work on this truck worked for hours, weeks and months to get to what you see here. And this project was not a Concours Show level project.
