Hard drive failure on iMac - Upgrade

Описание к видео Hard drive failure on iMac - Upgrade

Hey guys, welcome back to my newest video. This 2006 iMac 24" had a question mark folder when you tried to power it on. The question mark folder would not go away. I was sure that the hard drive was failing. I took the iMac apart, and took out the hard drive. I took the chance and decided to clone it to a solid state drive (SSD). The original drive was 250GB, and the SSD was a 256GB. LUCKILY, the clone process was successful (im not sure how, because the drive was failing) and all of the data transferred over to the SSD exactly the way it was. The customer was very happy. When the hard drive starts to fail on a mac, a question mark folder can pop up. The cloning device is a excellent machine and is very useful. Also, the computer booted up ALOT faster with the SSD. Keep in mind this iMac only has 2GB of RAM. This was a very nice upgrade and repair. I love how the original box was kept with it. The iMac itself was in excellent condition also.

If you liked this video AT ALL, please show some love. Like, comment, or subscribe.
