How to build a wooden football goal | STIHL

Building a wooden soccer goal from scratch.​

Turn your garden into your own private stadium, but make it affordable! With this soccer goal DIY you can turn your own lawn into a football field.​

This is what you'll need:​

- Workbench​
- Wooden stand or Roller stand (alternatively: height-adjustable support stand)​
- Measuring tape​
- Carpenter angle or triangle ruler ​
- Pencil​
- Cordless screwdriver with bit inserts​
- Cordless drilling machine with 6, 8 and 10 mm wood drill bits​
- Multi-sander with 150 sandpaper​
- Hook screwdriver (as bit insert)​
- Hammer​
- Squared timber in the sizes: 1 part 2,40 m x 70 mm x 45 mm / 2 parts 1,6 m x 70 mm x 45 mm / 2 parts 60 cm x 45 mm x 45 mm / 2 parts 100 cm x 45 mm x 45 mm / 2 parts 1,7 m x 45 mm x 45 mm / 1 part 2,25 m x 34 mm x 54 mm​
- Wood stain and brush​
- Wood glue​
- Wood screws / Spax for the frame 6 x 80 mm and 6 x 100 mm​
- Wood screws / Spax for the side parts and the rear post 5 x 70 mm and 4 x 35 mm​
- Metal angles (stainless steel) 10 x 10 cm x 3 mm​
- Folding hinges 60 x 60 mm​
- Wooden dowels 10 mm​
- Screw hooks 3,3 x 50 mm​
- Soccer net 160 x 240 cm​
- Angle connector (support for the ground anchors) 90 x 90 x 2,5 mm​
- Ground anchor 30 cm​
