Josep Carreras Leukaemia Research Institute - official video

Since its creation, the Josep Carreras Foundation has invested over 260 million euros in grants and research projects. The Josep Carreras Leukaemia Research Institute was founded in 2010 by the Generalitat of Catalonia and the Josep Carreras Foundation. It is an unprecedented centre which benefits from the work and rigour of researchers from around the world and uses the most innovative technologies in order to try and win the war against leukaemia and other haematological malignancies.

The Josep Carreras Institute has three operational scientific campuses:

-The Campus Clínic-UB, located in the research facilities at the Hospital Clinic of Barcelona and its research institute, IDIBAPS, part of the Faculty of Medicine at the University of Barcelona.

-The Campus ICO-Germans Trias i Pujol-UAB of Badalona, located in the area surrounding the Germans Trias i Pujol University Hospital and its research foundation, the Germans Trias i Pujol Teaching Unit at the Autonomous University of Barcelona.

-The Campus Sant Pau-UAB, located in the healthcare complex of the Santa Creu i Sant Pau Hospital, the Sant Pau Teaching Unit of the Autonomous University of Barcelona and its research institute, IIB Sant Pau.
