White Cay - Bahamas Aerial View

23°24,04N / 75°26,33W White Cay - Exumas
This is one of my most favourite islands at the very eastern end of the Exumas. At low tide you can walk miles on white sands. With 3 feet draft you can enter at high tide to the small lagoon west of White Cay. At low tide you will still have more than 5 feet of water. Otherwise you have to anchor outside and dinghy in. At this place there was a film shooting of Caribbean pirates II with Johnny Depp!

--- I am sailing with my Gemini 105MC catamaran NIRVANA every year to the central Bahamas, the island chain of the Exumas. In the summer hurricane season I leave my boat in Florida in the Indiantown Marina near Lake Okeechobee and fly home to Germany.
