Ancel VD500 - VW Audi code reader test

Test and review of Ancel VD500 - #scan tool designed for Volkswagen, Audi, Seat and Skoda cars. The device can connect with all #VAG control modules (engine, transmission, airbags, suspension, instrument cluster, HVAC, multimedia system, ABS, central electronics, comfort module...) so you can read and clear fault codes from those units. You can also check current coding of selected module and its part number.
On top of that there are built-in functions to reset service inspection reminder message, set electronic parking brake (EPB) to service position and perform throttle body (TB) calibration.

Ancel VD500 also have general OBD2 protocol communication, which lets you connect with any other car that supports OBD2 standard. With that you can read and clear ECU fault codes in cars other that VAG (Audi, Seat, Skoda, Volkswagen).

It's a great device for small repair shops or car wash/detailing shops. For example, if you often need to disconnect front seats for interior cleaning and later you have to clear the airbag error code.
