Описание к видео Packing for your Aconcagua Expedition

Hi, I,m Ian from Ian Taylor Trekking. I have put together a video of the gear and clothing I will bring on an Aconcagua Expedition. I have climbed Everest to the top and Aconcagua 7 times. Climbing Aconcagua is a real challenge and needs previous altitude experience, careful consideration and specific training.

The Vacas valley traverse route is a more interesting, beautiful and fascinating valley and route up Aconcagua. We follow this stunning valley and river, deep into the Andes before getting the best view of this giant mountain. When we move higher above base camp, we will cross under the Polish Glacier, and move around the mountain to Camp 3, Colera Camp 5,980m/ 19,618 feet for a night before we attempt the last stretch to the summit before coming back down the traditional route. Once back in Plaza de Mulas Base camp 4,400m/ 14,405 feet we will trek the final leg to the road head in one day. This is a 16 mile/ 26km hike.
