Maya Tutorial: How to Animate a Dinosaur Run Cycle (Part 3 - Animating the Head and Neck)

Описание к видео Maya Tutorial: How to Animate a Dinosaur Run Cycle (Part 3 - Animating the Head and Neck)

In Part 3, we will begin animating the head and the neck using a straight-ahead layered method, which I find is one of the best workflows for animating body mechanics and cycles. We will then move on to adding a bit of side-to-side movement for the hips and the chest controls. Learn how to animate a creature's run cycle from start to finish using the free Jurrasic World IRex dinosaur rig. The tutorial series assumes some prior knowledge of Maya and animating in Maya, but everything is in real-time so following along should be relatively easy.

The approach we will take throughout this series is a straight-ahead layered method which I find is a great workflow, especially when focusing on body mechanics.
