How to Crochet a granny Rectangle

Learn how to crochet a granny rectangle. This rectangle is easy to make. It is ideal for use as straps, sides/bottoms of bags, tablecloths, placemats, etc.

Use it whenever you need a rectangle piece. You can make it as large as you need by continuing to add rounds. I have used this rectangle to create baby blankets and even full size blankets.
