✅ Hola mis amigos . En el día de hoy nuestra aventura nos lleva hasta el lugar donde se filmó la escena icónica de la película de 1994 Forrest Gump protagonizada por Tom Hanks. Esta escena fue rodada en un sitio espectacular en los alrededores de Monument Valley en Utah. El lugar en sí se llama Forrest Gump Point y está sobre la U.S. Route 163, una calle en el pueblito de Mexican Hat.  Como llegamos ahi? Ponemos en el GPS Forrest Gump Point y así llegaremos al lugar exacto.

Forrest Gump Point es una visita obligada para agregar a su bucket list de lugares a visitar ya que ofrece vistas espectaculares, especialmente para fotografías.  El viaje a Forrest Gump Point también es muy bonito y pintoresco.  El lugar está bien señalizado.  Las mejores fotos se toman por la mañana, para entre otras cosas evitar la multitud de personas que van a visitar este lugar.  Además que en la tarde está en contra del sol.

Para cualquiera que ame la película, ¡esto es algo que hay que hacer si o si!  Está literalmente en medio de la nada y es solo una de las muchas vistas asombrosas de Monument Valley, que se hizo famosa por la escena clásica de Forrest Gump. 

El hermoso paisaje al fondo hace que definitivamente una parada fotográfica que valga la pena! Tenga cuidado debido al tráfico!


En el video les comparto un fragmento del driving por la U.S. Route 163 hasta Forrest Gump Point. Disfruten  de la majestuosidad de las formaciones rocosas o buttes como también se le conocen alrededor de esta calle.

Les recomiendo que este sea el primer lugar que visite si viene a Monument Valley. Vaya tome sus fotos y después regrese para  el Visitor Center donde puede comprar souvenirs regalos etc... ademas hay baños disponibles, lo que es muy conveniente.... y finalmente por supuesto le recomiendo manejar el Loop de 17 millas que es sin dudas la cereza del pastel.

Hello my friends. Today, our adventure takes us to where the iconic scene from the 1994 film Forrest Gump, starring Tom Hanks, was filmed. This scene was filmed in a spectacular location around Monument Valley in Utah. The place itself is called Forrest Gump Point, on U.S. Route 163, a street in the small town of Mexican Hat. How do we get there? We put Forrest Gump Point in the GPS and will arrive at the exact place.

Forrest Gump Point is a must-see to add to your bucket list of places to visit as it offers spectacular views, especially for photographs. The drive to Forrest Gump Point is also very pretty and scenic. The place is well signposted. The best photos are taken in the morning to avoid the crowds of people visiting this place. Also, in the afternoon, it is against the sun.

For anyone who loves the movie, this is a must-do! It's in the middle of nowhere and is just one of the many jaw-dropping sights of Monument Valley, made famous by the classic Forrest Gump scene.

The beautiful scenery in the background makes a worthwhile photo stop! Be careful due to the traffic!
