Nope. I don’t know why this sandwich from Ken Dodd’s Butty Book of 1977 is called the Soft-Shoe Swinger. What I do know is that is thiiiiiisss close to a Western Sandwich that I’ve made from another cookbook. And yeah, it’s kind of a layup for Sandwiches of History.
