Rhode Island State Police said Monday that remains found last week in Foster were those of a Warwick woman who was reported missing last year.

Investigators said Michele Romano, 56, was reported missing by a family member to Warwick police on Aug. 18.

Her body was found Wednesday off Plainfield Pike in Foster.
