EXPLORING EL YUNQUE RAINFOREST | Puerto Rico National Park | Loiza Bomba Music

Today we joined Puerto Rico Tour Desk once again for their El Yunque Rainforest excursion!

El Yunque is one of the US, or rather, Puerto Rico National Park sites, and the only rainforest within the United States National Parks system. We also visited La Coca Falls - famous from the Pirates of the Caribbean, as well as the Angelito Trail to have a refreshing swim in a great swimming hole.

We also went to the town of Loiza, Puerto Rico, to learn more about their Bomba music - that celebrates African musical heritage and dance that is still alive & well and considered the jewel of Puerto Rico culture.
