Steve Lukather solo - Pamela (Toto)

Hi guy's ! Here is my take on Steve Lukather's Guitar solo from the track "Pamela" off The Seventh One album by Toto. When he cut this solo they guy's in Toto shouted out to him as he was playing it "do some of that Van Halen shit" and then on the fly Luke did just that with awesome taste and feel in the rest of the solo. For me his approach and the Rhythms in this solo is great. A nice Luke style bend with his ace vibrato to start then to a nice major scale run down to his major Van Halen style finger tapping lick. Then onto a pentotonic finger tap lick to a tasty Blues lick and then ending on a lovely major/pentotonic melody going up with his very tasty whammy bar.In my opinion a very tasty solo indeed.
