UP local to Behr and FM Beloit, WI 13 Feb 2024

What started as an opportunity to catch our resident GP60 still in SSW paint crossing Spring Brook at one of the more inaccessible bridges on the line turned into a bit of a chase when depressed heavy duty flat KRL 47800 appeared.
Starting with the bridge which is the third of eight crossings the line takes over Spring Brook between Clinton and Beloit, a quite a bit of trimming was needed to get a workable shot of the bridge. Once the HD fat came into view, the chase was on, albeit after a brisk 20 minute hike.
I caught back up to them crossing Turtle Creek in S. Beloit, IL where they dropped the three high side gons at Behr scrap yard around an insanely sharp curve. While there, I took a couple closer shots of the trucks/span bolsters/platforms before they came back to head to FM.
Just over the state line in Beloit, WI, they crossed over Park Ave heading back east to Beloit Jct where they gain access to the line to Janesville which the spur to FM is tied to.
A little over a mile north on Park Ave is the crossing and entrance to the FM plant, were the next sequence of shots was taken.
Once the flat was cut off in FM, 1025 went back to the Janesville main at Copeland Ave to be rejoined to the 1158 for the return trip down to Beloit Jct, Clinton and eventually S. Janesville.
Now to see if FM can load it quick.
