1. Any individual above 10 years of age with valid KYC documents is eligible to open a Regular savings account and Basic Savings Account
But to open a Digital account one need to have 18years of above.

2. End of the balance In IPPB account Is ₹2Lakhs earlier it was ₹1Lakh. The limit has been raised from ₹1lakh to ₹2lakhs as per RBI notification 08.04.2021

The main objective of the IPPB is to build the most accessible, affordable and trusted bank for the common man. However, the post office saving account (POSA) also aims to serve the same purpose.
