A Challenging Trek From Har Ki Dun Valley To Yamunotri Valley

Bali pass trek trip for adventurous nature lovers, keen to explore a remote Himalayan valley, has all the classic attractions: ascending gentle trails through luxuriant oak and conifer forest and past traditional Hindu mountain villages to the alpine meadows where mountain peaks soar above Hari- Ki – Doon (the Valley of Gods). From the high Bali Pass , which is also being called as the Yamunotri Pass, the Ruinsara Tal-Yamunotri  Bali Pass Trek brings the camping bizarre by the side of the Ruinsara Tal (lake) for an outstanding experience. The valley is dominated by Swargarohini (6252 mtrs).The Valley of Gods boasts richness in the variety of flora. Situated in the upper catchment basin of the Tons River, Hari-ki-dun is one of the most fascinating and least visited areas of the Garhwal Himalaya. The Har Ki Doon Mountain Trekking will take you to the source of the Karmanasha stream which meets the Obragaad stream below a village named Sankri or Saur, to form the supine river which unites with the Rupin River flowing from Himachal Pradesh, at Netwar, to become the Tons River – a major tributary of the Yamuna River. Bali Pass trek can be approached from Mid May to June End and early September to October Mid. The weather will be unpredictable during monsoon season and during winters the region
will be exposed to heaps of snow.

Day 01: DEHRADUN - MUSSOORIE – SANKRI (1945 mt./ Drive 195 km. / Drive 8 hrs.)

  Day 02: SANKRI - TALUKA – OSLA / SEEMA (2559 mt. / Drive 12km./Trek 14 km./8 hrs.)

  Day 03: OSLA – DEVSU THATCH (3000 mt./ Trek 8 km. /6 hrs.)

  Day 04: DEVSU THATCH – RUINSARA TAL (LAKE) (3500 mt. /Trek10 Km. /6 hrs.)

  Day 05: RUINSARA TAL – BALI ODARI) (4000mt. /Trek 09 km./3 hrs.)

  Day 06: BALI ODARI – BALI PASS BASE CAMP (4600mt. /Trek 4 km./4 hrs.

  Day 07: BALI BASE CAMP – BALI PASS (4950 mt.) – DAMINI FOREST CAMP (3250 mt/Trek 13km. /8 hrs.)

  Day 08: DAMINI CAMP – YAMUNOTRI TEMPLE – JANKICHATTI – BARKOT (1650 mt./Trek14 km./drive 38 km./ 9 hrs.)

  Day 09: BARKOT – MUSSOORIE – DEHRADUN – DELHI (Drive 198 km./train 250 km./10 hrs.)
