Alex Alonso describes how the website Streetgangs.com was created back in 1995 on a University server at USC and then transferred to its own domain name in 1998 where the current name was created. The site has become one of the most visited websites on the topic of Street gangs, and has been copied many time over by other websites. It has grown to become one of the largest sites of web content, including biographies, photos and videos on the internet.

Streetgangs.com has the largest collection of gang member interviews and gang graffiti photographs in the World.
