If you're a Safemoon holder, you're probably aware of the migration from version 1 to version 2. But have no fear, we will guide you through the steps to ensure that you can add Safemoon v2 to your Trust Wallet.

Firstly, let's discuss what Safemoon v2 is. Safemoon v2 is the new decentralized finance (DeFi) token developed to work faster and be more efficient, whilst protecting its users' investments. Trust Wallet has incorporated this new token, allowing Safemoon holders to gain access to these new features.

Now, let's get right to it. To start, you will need to have Trust Wallet and Safemoon wallet installed on your mobile device. If you don't have them yet, you can download them from your preferred app store.

Once you have both apps installed, open up the Trust Wallet app and ensure that you have the latest version. Then, go to the wallet section and select 'smart chain'.

After selecting 'smart chain', click on the small gear icon in the top right hand corner of your screen.

Scroll down until you see the option to add custom token. Now it's time to enter in the relevant information.

Firstly, under the 'network' tab, select 'smart chain' from the drop down menu.

Next, you will see that there’s a list of tokens already listed there. Choose the option with the '+' symbol in the right upper corner.

Now, under 'token contract address’, copy and paste the Safemoon v2 contract address: 0x3e84d5268a2ddd5d9e7ccc14fdec32034ace496b.

Under ‘Name’, type ‘Safemoon v2’.
Under ‘Symbol’, type ‘SAFEMOONv2'.
Under ‘Decimals of Precision’, enter ‘9’.

Once you have entered all the required information, click on the ‘done’ button in the top right hand corner of your screen.

Congratulations, you have now added Safemoon v2 to your Trust Wallet. You can now access it by going back to your Wallet section.
