Text guide and tips

This guide is mainly for the map Revolution, but all info can be utilized elsewhere in the game.

I'm wearing tier 6 gear in this video, but it's completely possible to rack up a 350+ combo with lower tier gear. I'd recommend tier 3 gear to start with this strategy, then save up for tier 5 and 6.

You want the attributes on your gear to be oriented towards focus. This includes focus time, focus amount, focus gain and focus capsules. The better your overall focus, the more you'll be able to use your slow time ability, which I'll talk about next.

Always choose Jupiter as your God in the beginning. Jupiter gives extra focus after executions, and has the Time Storm ability (RB), which slows nearby enemies, making them easier to hit and easier to gain a higher combo.

You can use a focus elixir at the start as I do in the video. It isn't necessary, but it does make things easier. If you don't have any, just buy the 40 gold (bronze) elixir packs until you stock up on them.

Executions
Executions can be triggered by pressing (RT) when the skull icon appears above the head of an enemy.

The weaker enemies can be executed after 4 and 5 hits, but will die on the 6th. Stronger enemies can take 6 and 7 hits before they can be executed, and will die on the 8th hit, if not executed.

During an execution, the enemy being executed will glow either blue or yellow. Blue represents the (X) button, and yellow the (Y) button. Press the corresponding button with the color as fast as you can, as the quicker you press it, the more it will add to your combo.

During an execution, the fastest hits will come up as Legendary hits, then going slower it's Centurion, Soldier, and finally, Recruit.
Legendary hits will add 3 to your combo. Centurion will add 2. Soldier 1. And Recruit adds 0, but the combo will stay up, it simply doesn't get affected.

Taunt
Taunting (LB) is crucial in keeping your combo up if there are no enemies around, when going from objective to objective, or if you think an enemy is too far away during combat.

If you think an enemy is too far away, do a taunt, then approach the enemy.

Revolution
This map - Revolution - is an amazing map to rack up a solo combo. The first group of enemies aren't very important, as the combo you gain here will end once you enter the scorpio turret to trigger the enemies on the bridge. If you don't have any focus elixirs to use, utilize this first group to fill up your focus bar.

When the game tells you to enter the scorpio turret, do it, then immediately exit it and hop down. This is where you'll start your combo that can be carried all the way through the level.

Also, when you use the slow time ability, always watch for stragglers that weren't slowed down by it. They can easily sneak up on you and get a hit in, ending your combo.

And always remember to taunt!
