Why Edens Garden Is Far Better Than doTERRA

Nathan (Anti-doTERRA): First, Lance, I appreciate what a nice person you are in these responses. However, I don't think your comparison works. You left out price, which is a big factor when choosing a company. Not surprising, since DoTerra is about the most overpriced company there is. (1) You included education-- however, if StarBucks gives me the best coffee education, but I like Dunkin's better-- I'm going to Dunkin. We are buying a product, the education can come from youtube or anyplace else-- it's a non factor.

(2) Both are tested, having to request the test is a non issue as long as you can get it. They also both use "Therapeutic Grade" lingo, which is a made up marketing word and raises a red flag for me. To me, both passed here.

(3) The FDA does not regulate EO, and they fall under "cosmetics". To not explicitly label them for "internal use" is common, and does not reflect quality. In fact, it would be safer to ingest a less pure product. Others have pointed out that using "it's natural" is a worthless statement. Your DoTerra Tea Tree EO is 100% natural, but please do not ingest this.

(4) This one is the best point you made. A batch number should be included.

(5) The average wholesale price is 40% off dollar amount-- no "free product" used to calculate this. YL and DoTerra really give a "member discount" which they can call anything. However, if you are giving 25% off something that is marked up 100%, this can't be seen as a win.

(6) If the prices were comparable, this one would be a win for DoTerra.
