Namastey and Nomoshkar, we are back with yet another episode and this time we are going to laze a weekend in Mongpong in the Kalimpong district of West Bengal.

Mongpong is the gateway to Dooars and the forest department (WBFDC) has setup a very beautiful resort overlooking Teesta river and in the middle of the forest. As part of sightseeing, you can cover Kurseong and Kalimpong along with Doors, we covered Lataguri, Murti river, Delo, Mongpoo (Rabindranath Tagore's Bungalow), Jorepokhri and bunch of other places. An interesting experience was the road blockage by an elephant in the forest.
