In the DIVERSITY TALKS, we address the central question in 3 short talks: "Cycling for everyone - but how?"

Talk 1: Cycling for everyone (Hanna Eberhardt, Fahrrad & Familie e.V.; Sarah Karge, ADFC e.V.)
As a major cycling association, the ADFC has been activating various people to cycle for many years and advocates for more visibility in road traffic. How is the approach to inclusivity and inclusion perceived by the activists? This discussion will cover initiatives and actions such as the Bici Bus or the Fahrrad&Familie e.V. that help reach new target groups from an early age, making cycling accessible to everyone.

Talk 2: DIVERSITY TALKS: Diversity in the cycling ecosystem (Wayne Brown, SHIFT Active Media; Rachael Burnside, SHIFT Active Media)
Cycling isn't just transportation; it's liberation. Unlocking the power of the bicycle for all. An exploration of how grassroots movements, established organisations and brands have challenged norms, transformed perceptions, and laid the foundation for a more diverse and welcoming cycling culture.

Talk 3: Women in Cycling (Isabell Eberlin, Velokonzept GmbH; Ash Lovell, PeopleForBikes)
The panel discussion of and with "Women in Cycling," the focus is on the structural changes needed in the cycling sector. Topics like equal pay, flexible work models, and fair promotion opportunities will be explored. Experts will discuss how networking can strengthen personal relationships and also make the industry's structure more equitable and fair. Key milestones achieved over the past year and current goals being actively pursued will be highlighted.
