Welcome to the next episode of a YouTube series I'm calling "Bobby Harrison's Lickorama". I make no excuses for the cheesy name. The aim is to give you regular, short lick-based guitar lessons in a variety of styles.

This week, we take a look at a phrase to play over the i chord in a G blues shuffle. This phrase uses repetition, call and response and incorporates a 9th chord voicing made famous by Freddie King. Chords aren’t just good for rhythm guitar, they can be used as short stabs to really help punctuate a phrase.
