This Petrol MG’s MPG Shames Diesels

The new MG3 Hybrid+ costs £18,495 in entry-level SE form, which is £100 more expensive than the Renault Clio. But the MG comes with electrification as standard, making it £3.2k cheaper than the equivalent Clio Hybrid. Hence why we're calling it a bargain.

But in a world where monthly finance costs can make price differences like these seem insignificant, does the hybrid MG3 feel cheap compared with its highly rated rival? Or has it done with its siblings have done and found a way to undercut alternatives without any significant compromises?
