Learn SEVILLANAS with me!
To celebrate that this is the month when the “FERIA DE ABRIL” is taking place, I’m bringing you at home, a FULL Sevillanas course complete FREE on my channel.
This is the first video of a comprehensive series. Make sure to find the SEVILLANAS playlist, the entire series will be uploaded there.
In this first video I’m giving you some background about SEVILLANAS, talking about their structure and teaching you two key steps.
The "PASEO DE SEVILLANA" and the "PASADA"

There are four sevillanas, and each one of them has three parts called “COPLAS”.
In between each “COPLA” you’ll always find:
--“PASEO DE SEVILLANA”
--“PASADA”
In this first video of the SEVILLANAS series, I’ll be teaching you these key steps you’ll be using throughout the four Sevillanas.
Make sure to watch this video first so you’ll be super confident with this important transition while learning the four Sevillanas.
Also the first COPLA of the first SEVILLANA, is if formed of 5 PASEO DE SEVILLANAS and the last copla is formed of 4 PASADAS. So the moment you learn these two combinations you’ll almost know the full first SEVILLANA!!! Big bonus!!
There will be no arms in this video. Don’t worry, rest assured you’ll learn them too! But let's take it slowly and truly learn the proper technique. First legs, then arms, head, style… coordination is key but first let’s learn each part separately.
