Covering an area of 3,280 m², it features more than 110,000 plants from 23 different varieties, which will provide multiple benefits to Madrid's urban environment.

Terapia Urbana’s involvement in the project includes the design, development, and monitoring of the garden, based on the Fytotextile system, which offers high performance for excellent vegetation behavior, along with the reliability and guarantees required for the development of such a unique-sized initiative.

This project has posed quite a challenge for several reasons: production, development, and installation in just 3 months, on an urban road, with a limited team due to working on a traffic route.

The criteria for selecting the 23 plant species that make up Calle 30 Natura were their high durability, low water requirement, and ability to absorb pollutants.

Procuring these plants in record time has also been a challenge. As for the composition of the vertical garden, it is inspired by the streaks generated by car traffic lights, and organic elements, such as wind swirls, were introduced to add interest and some movement to the lines connecting the design.

This vertical garden features an advanced centralized and segmented irrigation system with various sensors to remotely monitor and detect any issues that may arise and adjust watering according to the needs.
