This is how Uber manages to pay very little tax. When you pay 100 dollars for Uber 80 dollars go-to driver. The remaining 20 dollars are going to Uber BV Netherlands. This company has headquartered in the Netherlands. But from these 20 dollars, they pay 19 dollars in intellectual property to another company called Uber international CV. But second company Uber international CV is incorporated in the Netherlands but its headquarter is in Bermuda. And Bermuda has 0 percent corporate tax. So they pay a 25 percent tax of one dollar. But in reality, is 1.25 percent from 20 dollars. And then Uber international CV pays a small percentage in Uber US company. So it's roughly a 4 percent tax on profit.
