1984 Mercedes-Benz 500SEC with 'Magic Top' cabriolet conversion by German firm bb (set up by Rainer Buchmann and Dieter Buchmann). Even after almost 30 years, the one-touch, electrically powered roof still works perfectly. Costing an astronomical sum when new, this car is believed to be one of around 10 ever made - sadly bb went bust in 1986.

Note that the rattling sound half way through the video is NOT the roof in operation (it is in fact near silent). The noise was caused by a gentleman moving shopping trolleys out of shot!
