The time has come to motorize another official LEGO boat, and that boat is the Arctic Explorer Ship (set 60368)! A large (for an official set), beautiful, and surprisingly fast and stable boat (again, for an official set)! In this video, you will witness the basic build process of the boat, the conversion to make it fully RC with a range of hundreds of meters (or feet), and finally, the sea trials in a calm lagoon in the area of Anavyssos, Greece. The captain (oh captain, my captain) and crew of the boat await you! Except the helicopter pilot... she was below deck and fast asleep during the whole video...

To motorize the boat, I used :

Engine : 1x LEGO Power Functions L motor
Propeller pivot : 1x RC servo motor
Battery : 3-cell LiPo
Remote Controller : FlySky FS-i6 with 6-channel receiver
Electronic Speed Control (ESC) : Hobbywing Quicrun 1060
