While Tesla hasn't revealed which team will occupy the new space, the move signals the company’s ongoing investment in software-heavy automotive development right in the heart of Silicon Valley.

This expansion is part of a broader trend among automakers. Rivian, General Motors, and Toyota have all recently invested in nearby sites dedicated to autonomy and mobility tech as the competition heats up in vehicle software and AI.
