The second session of our Disrupting Politics was held on September 29th and is featured by amazing guests from politics, business and academia!

Digitalization is supposed to have adverse effects on a democratic system in the eyes of public. We frequently read about manipulation of elections through Social Media in the news. But how can the technological progress be utilized in a positive way. TEDx Speaker Professor Cesar Hidalgo ("A bold Idea to replace politicians") will give you food for thought in our keynote speech. Further fascinating ideas and examples from Estonia will be shared with you in one of our lightning talks. We will conclude our first day with a discussion panel with stellar scholars, researchers and politicians.

The "Disrupting Politics" conference series created in collaboration between a student group from the Technische Universität München, the Center for Digital Technology and Management (CDTM), Isabell Welpe, Felix Rösner, Jan Biehler and Thomas Sattelberger, MdB will highlight different types of political innovations that have large potential to bring us closer to the required change. We want to showcase unknown ideas and discuss these with top tier academics, politicians, and entrepreneurs.
